FREE WEBINAR COVID-19: How Philanthropy Can Stand Up for Vulnerable Populations (Center for Disaster Philanthropy)
Location: Online Webinar
With COVID-19 there seem to be more questions than answers, particularly for funders who want to respond effectively and efficiently. This series of webinars brings expert panelists together to address some of the most pressing issues, including getting money out the door quickly, supporting vulnerable populations and investing in local communities.
This COVID-19 webinar will explore the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and its impact on nonprofits and vulnerable communities. The webinar will address the limitations of governmental responses and how philanthropists can act directly, and act as advocates, for better protections for at-risk populations, including approaches for developing a public policy agenda for philanthropy, based in equity. This webinar is presented in partnership with The Humana Foundation.
CDP Director of Strategic Initiatives Sally Ray will moderate the discussion.
Panelists: (Additional panelists will be added as they are confirmed)
